Forklift Operator Position

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload materials onto/off trucks, shelves, and production areas
• Move products and materials to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks
• Stack and arrange products and materials according to company procedures
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Track inventory and complete appropriate documentation
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly

Requirements

• Valid forklift certification/license
• Previous experience operating forklifts (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and protocols
• Basic math skills for inventory calculations
• Ability to read location orders and shipping/receiving documentation
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent

Work Schedule

Full-time position (40 hours/week)
